Registration open: 2023 PSAC National Health and Safety Conference

Please note that registrations and resolutions have been closed since Friday, October 7, 2022.

PSAC's 2023 National Health and Safety Conference will be held in person January 27-29 in Montreal with the theme “Shaping the future of work: building safer, more inclusive workplaces”.

At the conference, delegates will have the opportunity to build on PSAC’s important work protecting our members’ health and safety and improving working conditions in workplaces across the country.

Canada has finally joined the ranks of countries around the world who have national action plans to support 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. With violence and hate crimes on the rise, it’s not a moment too soon.

L’atelier porte sur l’importance de tenir compte du traumatisme intergénérationnel dans notre travail de leaders et de militantes et militants. On y explique des pratiques exemplaires pour soutenir et représenter les membres aux prises avec ce traumatisme.

This workshop will explore how intergenerational trauma can impact our work as union leaders and activists and discuss best practices for supporting and representing members impacted by these traumas.

The CFIA bargaining team received a strong mandate from members at the CFIA bargaining conference to address key priorities at the table.

Union dues change takes effect in September

At PSAC’s national convention this year, members worked together to pass a progressive budget, and several resolutions, to build on the important work of our union in bargaining, organizing, human rights and mobilization.
