The Bargaining Conference brings together members to discuss and prioritize issues for bargaining with your Employer. The participation of all groups in collective bargaining is critical and we encourage equity activists, young workers, women and RWC members to consider participating at the bargaining conferences.

Please submit your application before September 13th to be considered for the upcoming bargaining conference.

Programme d’incitation à la retraite anticipée : comment prendre une décision éclairée si vous ne faites pas partie de la fonction publique fédérale

Le nouveau Programme d’incitation à la retraite anticipée du gouvernement fédéral est maintenant en vigueur. Des avis ont été envoyés aux membres du personnel des gouvernements du Nunavut et des Territoires du Nord-Ouest. Les membres du personnel du Bureau du vérificateur général du Canada, du Service canadien du renseignement de sécurité et de certains musées et galeries d’art fédéraux participent aussi à ce régime et pourraient être admissibles au Programme.

What workers outside the federal public service need to know about the Early Retirement Incentive 

The federal government’s new Early Retirement Incentive (ERI) program is now in effect. ERI notices were sent to employees of the Governments of Nunavut and Northwest Territories. Employees of the Office of the Auditor General (OAG), the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS), and certain federal museums and art galleries also participate in the PSSA and may be eligible for ERI.

Victoire : la retraite anticipée après 25 ans de service est officielle

Les travailleuses et travailleurs fédéraux de première ligne sont plus près d’une retraite dans la dignité. Le projet de loi C-15 ayant reçu la sanction royale, le gouvernement peut désormais procéder à la réforme des pensions tant attendue et offrir une retraite anticipée après 25 ans de service sans pénalité à des milliers de personnes en première ligne.

Victory: 25-and-out becomes law for frontline federal workers

Frontline federal workers are one step closer to retiring with dignity. With Bill C-15 receiving royal assent, the federal government will move forward with long-awaited pension reforms that allow thousands of frontline workers to retire after 25 years of service without penalty.
