The participation of all groups in collective bargaining is critical and we encourage equity activists, young workers, women and RWC members to consider participating at the bargaining conferences.

Please submit your application before September 13th to be considered for the upcoming bargaining conference.

Braver la tempête avec espoir, unité… et solidarité

Je suis allé en Jamaïque après le passage de l’ouragan Melissa… la situation là-bas m’a profondément ébranlé. Je suis né à South Saint Elizabeth, la région la plus durement touchée. Les quartiers de mon enfance étaient méconnaissables. Ce milieu autrefois vibrant, théâtre de tant de souvenirs heureux, n’était plus que l’ombre de lui-même.

Hope and unity survive the storm, so will our solidarity

My recent trip to Jamaica after Hurricane Melissa was heartbreaking and very personal. I was born in South St. Elizabeth, the area hit hardest by the storm. When I arrived, the place where I grew up was almost unrecognizable. What used to be a community full of happy memories now looked broken and destroyed.

PSAC-UTE declares impasse with CRA

Our PSAC-UTE Bargaining Team’s most recent meetings with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) took place on January 20. Our team met this past Friday to discuss the situation and it is clear that we have no choice but to declare impasse in negotiations.

PSAC files unfair labour practice complaint in refusal of new in-office mandate

PSAC has filed an unfair labour practice complaint with the Federal Public Service Labour Relations and Employment Board in response to the government’s announcement of the new in-office mandate. Yesterday’s announcement to send all workers into the office four days a week by July shows a clear disregard of the protected bargaining rights of workers.

Parks Canada team fights for fairness and stability at work

As negotiations kicked off on January 28 to 29, our Parks Canada bargaining team made proposals to secure stronger job security, fair wages, better work–life balance, and equal treatment with the core public service.
