Seven years of Phoenix pay issues add insult to injury for federal workers fighting for decent wages

For hundreds of thousands of federal public service workers and retirees, February 28th marks the seventh anniversary of the Phoenix pay system disaster. They certainly have no reason to celebrate.

Every paycheque is a fresh reminder that this government is unable to pay its workers correctly or on time. In fact, since Phoenix was launched in 2016, there hasn’t been a single pay period without significant errors. Not one.

Les membres de l’AFPC qui ont subi des répercussions personnelles ou financières liées à Phénix peuvent encore réclamer une indemnisation. La règle s’applique aux employés actuels, à ceux et celles qui ont quitté la fonction publique et aux personnes qui administrent la succession d’un membre décédé.  

L’AFPC vous encourage fortement à le faire. Ça vaut la peine. Voici les différentes demandes que vous pouvez présenter.

Reminder: there is still time to file claims due to Phoenix impacts

PSAC members who have suffered personal or financial consequences due to Phoenix, whether they are current or former employees or the estate representative of a deceased member, can still make claims for the hardship they suffered.    

PSAC strongly encourages you to make a claim. It is worthwhile to apply. If you have been impacted by Phoenix, here is a list of claims you can apply for.
