  • Know a little more about the labour movement and PSAC history;
  • Identify current challenges for the labour movement.

There are a number of reasons why people get involved as active union members, including, for example:

  • Being advocates for social and economic justice
  • Defending the rights of others in the workplace and society
  • Championing a more fair and just worplace and society
  • Connecting to a social change movement
  • Giving back after receiving support and representation from the union
